Birds of the Outback

Aussie birds of a feather really do flock together!

Did Ya hear that the Birds are back in town?

By popular demand, Birds of the Outback is back for the summer of 2008 and you're invited to fly in for a peek at this amazing and colorful exhibit.

Visitors to Birds of the Outback venture into a 1,200 square foot enclosed aviary which features hundreds of free-flying cockatiels, parakeets, and rosellas. All these colorful birds are native to Australia. Admission is only $2 and includes a seed stick.

Aquarium guests even get the chance to personally feed these beautiful creatures, all the while interacting and learning about the Aussie birds’ native habitats and behaviors.

So, instead of “putting a shrimp on the barbie,” why don’t you put Birds of the Outback on your to do list this summer!
