Details and Reservation Information 

Group Admission Rates:
September- June $10.50/student; $14.50/adult
July- August $11.75/student; $16.25/adult
Group rates are based on a minimum of 10 paying individuals

Additional Classroom Programs:
Classroom Programs are 45 minutes and cost $3/student.
Lengthen your Class Programs are 90 minutes and cost $5/student.
Fees are based on a minimum of 10 paying students.

Chaperone Requirements:
Pre-K - Grade 3; 1:5 (1 chaperone free with every 5 students)
Grades 4-12; 1:10 (1 chaperone free with every 10 students)
A limited number of chaperones will be permitted in the classroom

Please note:

• Prices are subject to change. One payment must be submitted at time of arrival for the entire group.
• All programs must be reserved two weeks in advance.
• A maximum of 30 students can be accommodated per class.
• Aquarium members are not exempt from program fees.
• Cancellation fees: A cancellation fee will be charged for classroom programs that cancel with less than 2 weeks notice (minimum of $30 per class).

Traveling Programs
Have us travel to you! Our traveling teachers bring a complete classroom presentation to your location. We travel within 75 miles of Mystic, CT!
Cost: $195 for 2 classes; $97.50 for 3rd class; $65 for 4th class. Each traveling class is 45 minutes.

Please note:

• All programs must be booked for the same day at the same location to receive rates above.
• A $25 fee will be assessed per hour if there is an hour or more break between programs.
• Classes begin at 9:00 am at the earliest, depending on travel distance.
• A maximum of 4 classes can be held each day.
• It is ideal for all programs to take place in the same room and a chaperone must be present at all times.

Tailored Topics & Multi-Part Programs
Looking for a class on a specific topic not listed in this brochure? We will tailor a program to meet your group's needs. Just give us a call, we will be happy to work with you to create the best educational experience for your group. Additional $25 fee applies for program creation.
Looking for a more in-depth experience than just one class? Let the Education Department create an engaging multi-part program to meet your specific curriculum needs. Programs can take place at the Aquarium, at your school, or on the coast!

Lunch
Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration would be delighted to provide a nutritious and wholesome lunch for your group while they are visiting. Please contact Ocean Blue Catering --our onsite catering service -- at 860-572-5955 ext 336.
Avoid walking to buses in the cold weather! When you visit between November 1st and March 1st and purchase group lunches from Ocean Blue Catering, your group is guaranteed a place to eat at the Aquarium. Limitations apply; please call for details.
